RECREATION - Little to no experience - Looking for a fun, not competitive night of volleyball - Willing to learn new skills
- Beginner skill level - Have had minimal experience - Wiling to learn - Have moderate knowledge of the game (not yet familiar with playing positions and rotations) SEMI-COMPETITIVE - Moderate skill level - Have experience: recreational leagues, intramurals and pick-up. - Have some knowledge of the game (including positions on the court, playing positions and rotations) COMPETITIVE - High skill level - Have experience: OVA competitive teams, University Varsity teams, Tournaments, overall many years of competitive experience - Have strong and in-depth knowledge of the game (all positions on the court, playing positions, rotations after serve, serve receive and game movement) - Can play a specific position (setter, power, right side, middle, libero) - Is familiar with game plays: Tandoms, quicks, back row etc. ELITE - High skill level - Same as competitive but in addition: - Has played competitive/elite for many years up to registration date - An extensive background of past experience - Good physical shape and athletic (can play hard for 2 full hours) - Views themselves as an expert on rules and plays of the game |
